Core Grouting Completes Grouting on Rampion Substation Jacket

Core Grouting Services completed the grouting on the jacket for the Rampion Substation. The jacket was installed off the South-East coast of England and is secured to the seabed using 4 piles. These piles were grouted using normal Portland cement.

Core completed the work for VSF working on the Scaldis heavy lift vessel Rambiz. The installed jacket will ultimately support the substation for the Rampion wind farm project. The project is being built by E.ON, the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB) and Canadian energy company Enbridge. It consists of 116 monopile wind turbines to be located off the Sussex coast.
